Stampin' in the rain

It's a rainy day here today, so I spent this morning stamping in my PJs. I'm forever in need of thank you cards, so that was my objective this morning. This little beauty was inspired by a very similar card in the 2009-2010 Idea Book & Catalog on page 96.

Happy little accidents

Don't you love when your accidentally discover a fun new thing? I know I do. I created this card for my hostess club meeting.

I used the new Big Shot Lattice die to make the border. Here's a closer look:




I had some material left over after the club meeting, so I decided to make up some more cards. I had a pile of lattices on the table and I noticed it looked a bit like a medallion. So I layered two lattices on top of each other and came up with this!

Love it!!! I'm not sure why the color looks so different in this picture - it's the same paper combo as the original card. Darn finicky camera.
